Dear Sons,

We received the letter you wrote on June 24th on June 26th. We are very grateful. There is nothing new here. We are happy to hear that you will come home soon. Andrzejewski sent a letter home saying that Jazdik Jakoby is supposed to be sent to Berlin. Is it true? Let us know. There are not many changes around here. Jabłocki’s business was closed by the police. We had a lot of troubles because of that. The Kutowski’s stopped transporting goods to their home. They dropped everything and put the blame on me. I was kept in custody for eight days and after the investigation I was released. Kutowski was arrested instead of me. About the message you asked for, the one about Russia, the rumors are the same. I do not know how likely they can be. The upcoming days will show us. Anyway, we can expect big geopolitical changes in the next few days. Cease fire has taken place between France on the one side and Germany with Italy on the other – no more military actions. What is going to happen next – the near future will show us. Let us know if you received the package we sent you on Saturday, June 21st and tell us also what was inside. Enough for now, we send you hugs and kisses and we wish you return home.
