Letter written on October 6, 1940 by Wladislaw Gomolla to his family from Buchenwald

My dear friends, I am healthy and hope for the same from you. I received a letter from you and Johann with two payments on March 15th, for which I am very grateful. I thank all the donors who have given, especially to my brother at the front. I am very grateful to Brother Johann for the letter and for the wishes that I may be protected from all dangers. Warm greetings to you. When you write that Ludwig is back, I am very happy because he helped you a lot with the business and I should write to him too. I know that Dominik is back. Write to me and let me know where he is now. I thank you especially, Mother, for all your hard work and everything, and may God grant your health until we can all return to the family together again. I send wonderful greetings to both of you. I wish Martha the best of health and ask you to help her at home, especially Miller. What's the Noll family doing? John Fabian? Meine Lieben, Ich bin gesund und hoffe von Euch, dass selbe. Brief von Euch und Johann habe ich erhalten, und Geld zwei Mal zu 15 März, für was ich sehr dann he. Für die Gebers fein nein danke ich Euch allen und danke sanglich von Euchen besonders an den Bruder der Front. Den Bruder Johann bin ich sehr dank Bon für den Brief und für die Wunsche, möge Ihn goss nur allen Gefahren schützen und herzliche Grüße an Ihr. Wie Ihr schreibt, dass Ludwig zur war, freit mich sehr da hasse Euch muh sehr da hasse Euch in der Wirtschaft geholfen, und für soll auch mal schreiben. Das Dominik zur war ist mir auch bekannt.  Und schreibt mir mich, wo Er jetzt ist. Mütter dir danke ich besonders, für die ganze Mühe über und alle, und möge Der Gott Gesundheit geben, bis wir alle wieder zus. am man in die Familie einkehren werden.
