Letter sheet postmarked on August 25, 1940, from Sachsenhausen concentration camp, written on August 20, 1940, by Marian Cudek to his wife Genowefa in Nowy Sącz, Poland

Dear wife and all of you, I tell you that I am healthy, which I also wish for you. Do not worry, everything is fine. Read the camp regulations carefully, where payments of up to 20 marks per month are permitted. If you find it difficult, then notify Wlada. Also let me know if the colleague is satisfied with the motorbike he left if Fritz has been to Sącz. Please also reply immediately in German if everyone is healthy and in detail about your wellbeing. Kisses to you and everyone at home and greetings to Loborinski, Sowic, Berzandle, and Ląch. Yours, Marian
