Postcard postmarked in Venera, Italy on January 2, 1942, Written by Mitutte Rewski to Anna and Vladimino in Chelm, Poland

My loved ones! I received two cards yesterday from daddy from December 16th and 25th. You criticize me for not writing – you should have received my letters – I sent about three in that period. I am going to look for dried mushrooms, I will try to send you 150 g. The exhibition was good; one watercolor was bought by the association of artists. It is hard to get a bigger compliment in these hard times. On the 5th, they will take down the paintings. They promise to show them in Milan during spring if there are any left. It is horribly cold right now. It makes me extremely nervous as always. I worry about you and about how you live in that cold climate. We are fine, however a bit ropey. I practice and wash myself everyday using a cold glove. It is not pleasant, but it does not take much time and makes the body stronger. We send you kisses; take care.
